Hyannis meet-n-greet on January 23
I hope everyone had a safe and healthy Christmas. That was
some pretty wild weather the Cape had over the holiday weekend.
The people I had talked with liked a Saturday meet best,
so if everyone is agreeable the greet and meet I had mentioned
earlier will be start at Bobby Burn's pub at the corner
of Bearse's Way and Rte 28 in Hyannis at 7:00 p.m. If
someone has another location they feel would be better,
please feel free to suggest it. I don't get out as often
as I would like and am not overly familar with all the good
spots.
The couples and females that I e-mailed did express some
concern about a possible imbalance in number of males-to-females
(gang-bangs are not their style) so, regretfully, I am
going to ammend my open invitation to retire to my hottub
for some more get-acquainted time. If a couple or female
is interested in spending time with a particuiar member,
they will have first option and may invite that member with
them to the hotub. Other members will be included as long
as the numbers do not become too unbalanced and create an
uncomfortable atmosphere.
Please accept my apology about this change. The purpose
of a meet-n-greet is to make new friendships with other
people, not create an atmosphere or a place that makes someone
uneasy and scares them away.
If there is enough interest from both sexes, then next meeting
I will try for a full size suite that will have more room to
accomodate a larger group in comfort. But for this first
meet, it is better to have a smaller, less demnding/ intimidating
environment.
