What about plural 'marriages'?
My Wife and I and a longstanding female friend decided a
few years ago to stop our separation of lives and households
and all get together in one home. It has worked out fabulously!
There is no jealousy problem and neither is there an ongoing
24 hour orgy. We do sleep together in a king size bed, but
often if one or another of us feel out of sorts or maybe just
need a little space we have a separate bedroom for just that
purpose. We have an open relationship, so if one of us needs
a little variety it is ok, but it never comes home with us.
Its one for all and all for one in most other aspects of day
to day living. Believe me, it is a great help to have another
income [we all work] and another pair of hands to share in
the chores and tasks of running a household.This is not
a formal marriage, that is illegal, but rather a living
arrangement that suits us all. We would be interested in
hearing from other such groups or combinations that have
worked, or not worked.
